New Social Capitalism

Catalyst to a Higher Growth Curve and Equality of Wealth Distribution

Ever since the industrial revolution, society has been grappling with the issues of growth, wealth distribution and extent of intervention in the free market.

Global Markets with an ‘Inbuilt’ Social Dimension

Today, the internet presents the opportunity to set global markets, and consequently society, down a different path. New, more efficient and technologically aligned marketplaces, with institutions no longer working as a counterweight to social advancement, would become catalysts for society to not only embark upon a higher growth curve, but with wealth as a natural course more equitably distributed.

The Path to Social Capitalism

Global marketplaces with an ‘inbuilt’ social dimension would for the first time harmonise and align natural market imperatives with the interests of society to establish the foundation upon which society might embark on the path to Social Capitalism.

A Transition to Online Marketplaces: Not so Far Fetched!

Markets are in transition, with P2P marketplaces now proliferating across a number sectors such as funding, lending and more recently foreign exchange. Significantly, they establish independent trading ecosystems, where buyers and sellers, funders and recipients and lenders and borrowers can congregate to conduct their business, devoid of institutional involvement. These platforms are experiencing considerable uptake and with greater sophistication and evolution, progress at an ever accelerating rate.

Implication of Changes to the Largest Market in the World

The power of the internet’s global reach and connectivity lends itself particularly well to the largest market in the world; the Forex market. Undoubtedly, given its vastness and all encompassing nature, a paradigm shift in this cornerstone of the free market system, would have a significant impact on the global economy and society as a whole.

Resolving the Age Old Conundrum

The implementation of these markets along the lines of ‘Our Vision’ should instigate a re-assessment of society’s age old conundrum of left and right arguments and that capitalism and socialism inherently compromise each other.
